as I believe my daughter is well cared for while participating in activities she enjoys.”
“He still talks about camp. He loved it!”
“Each time we receive mail from the Arc of Cumberland, she wants to know if it is about going to camp. She loves it!”
Camp Fisher is a six week long summer day camp for students with a developmental disability between the ages of 8 and 21. We currently serve individuals who live in Cumberland County as well as those that live in the fringe areas of Gloucester, Salem, and Atlantic Counties.
Campers will be provided the opportunity to engage in recreational, social, leisure activities in a well-supervised, fun filled environment.
Camp Fisher is a mobile camp. We take many trips to interesting and exciting community based recreational sites during the entire six-week session. The summer 2010 session of Camp Fisher will run from July 7th to August 17th, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Our home base is the Evanoff Center in Vineland. All transportation is door to door and provided by the Arc of Cumberland. The New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (NJDDD) funds this program. There is no fee for this service.
